Welcome to High Chapel House - winter/spring special offer available!

A TEMPTING SPECIAL SPRING OFFER
Many of our visitors stay for a night on the way to somewhere else and wish they could stay longer. If you’re looking for a last minute break this spring, why not come here? For visitors staying mid-week (Sunday-Thursday) for 3 nights or more we are offering the 4th night free! (Mention this when you book.) If you book as a family or a group, then we can accommodate up to 5 people. We look forward to welcoming you!
High Chapel House is a lovely period property set in its own beautiful garden with mature trees and resident red squirrels. Recently refurbished en-suite rooms overlook the stunning countryside - wonderful walking and biking country, with great village pubs ready to revive you after a hard day enjoying yourself!
We also do Group Dinner Parties
If you're on holiday in the Eden Valley, or for a special occasion, we offer delicious dinners for up to twelve people in our spacious dining room overlooking stunning countryside. Whether you choose a basic two or three-course meal or our special celebration meal, you can be assured of excellent quality and service in a relaxed atmosphere. We can also deliver a great meal to your holiday cottage if you're staying in the area.
The upper Eden Valley is, according to Good Housekeeping, their favourite hidden gem, as you will have seen yourself if you watched the BBCs Lambing Live. Although close to the Yorkshire Dales and within striking distance of the dramatic Lakeland Fells, you won’t want to travel far. Ravenstonedale is in a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty: a paradise for those who love the great outdoors. Walkers, cyclists, bikers, fishermen and bird-watchers often stay with us and are most welcome. To the south the dramatic skyline of the Howgill Fells reflects the changing seasons - winter snows, spring waterfalls, and long summer days each have a magic of their own. To the east of Wild Boar Fell, which dominates the southern skyline, the river Eden rises in the limestone moorlands above Mallerstang Valley before tumbling over Hell Gill Force and flowing lazily northwards to the fertile Eden Valley where farmers’ markets and specialist food shops are just waiting to be explored. We look forward to your visit.
